How To Choose A Child Safety Seat

the 2 most important things for your kid’s safety during travelling by car, are to use the safety seat in a right way and of course to choose the appropriate car seat for your kid. We list the basic types of safety seats according to the age and the size of the child.

For newborns and infants up to 17-22 Pounds or
26-29 inches with limits vary from 60-100 pounds

For newborns and children weighting up to 40

Forward Facing  & Combination Seats
Children over one year of age.  Minimum weights vary from 20-30 pounds, so be sure to read the manufacturer’s instructions.

Belt Positioning BoosterChildren who weigh over 40 pounds or who have

Car seats that have  Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children LATCH or Isofix Connectors are more easily and safely installed on the car. ( It is actually the same connecting system called LATCH in USA and Isofix in Europe) and in case you travel often by airplane you should choose an  Airplane Compliant safety seat in order your baby to be safe during the whole flight and landing. Airplane complient safety seats in USA have the label “This restraint is certified for use in motor vehicles and aircraft”
